The digital industry in Spain is creating thousands of jobs. Digital marketing and digital commerce are one of the very few growing sectors in the Spanish industry. And there are still years of growth to come.

The members of a high-profile Jury will invite the Spanish entrepreneurs and start-ups to send in their business plans until the 21.01.2010. A preselected group of 10 finalists will be sponsored to exhibit their company free of cost at OMExpo Madrid 2011 and will furthermore have the opportunity to present their project, business plan or start-up company to the Jury in person.

The OMExpo Investor Day Jury will select the winner which will be announced at the award ceremony in the evening of the OMExpo Investor Day. The winner will be rewarded with a 25.000 Euro Start-Up Capital sponsored by KOMM Investment.

With the newly created event OMExpo Investor Day the Spanish market offers its first high-class investor event, in order to bring companies of the digital industry and investors together.

The event, which takes place in parallel to the convention and trade show OMExpo Madrid 2011, enables venture-capital-companies, business angels and other investors to exchange information on new ideas and visions in a relaxed atmosphere with company founders and startups.

* The winning Start-Up Company receives an award in the amount of € 25.000, sponsored by KOMM Investment AG. In close coordination and consultation with the winner this award can be either given as a loan or as equity.
