Michael Kleindl (41) is one of Europe’s most renowned public figures in the Internet advertising sector, having gained extensive experience as the co-founder and CEO of AdLINK Internet Media AG, which he took pubic in 2000. Since 2003 he is a very active and successful business angel investor. Michael has successfully invested in and exited companies such like Zanox.de AG, MAILPROFILER AG, United MailSolutions AG, Eyewonder Inc., Buy VIP S.L. amongst others. His current portfolio of companies includes market leading companies in the digital marketing and ecommerce space in Europe such as Smartclip (Europes leading video advertising network); Astramedia, Europe’s most successful digital agency for small and medium sized enterprises, Crossinx, a fast growing company in the eInvoicing space, Offerum SL and Payment Company AG amongst others.

He currently serves as a board member with Hi Media S.A., Europe’ largest public online marketing company.

Michael has worked in the Internet and online marketing industry for over 17 years and is deeply familiar with the digital market landscape in Europe.

Michael holds a university degree in Business Administration from the European Business School, Oestrich-Winkel, Germany, a top-tier European Business School, and completed a 2-year management training program in one of Germany´s largest public banking institutions.

He is married to a Mexican and has 2 daughters aged 15 and 20. In his spare time he does work out, loves skiing, tennis and golf.
